Prof. Vedat Coskun is a Computer Scientist, Computer Engineer, Academician, Researcher, Author,
and Consultant. He is the founder and manager of www.NFCLab.org, the leading research lab on Near
Field Communication (NFC), Smartphones, Smartcards, SIM Cards, Credit Cards, Payment Cards, and
Prepaid Cards technologies worldwide.
He believes in the globalization of science, technology, and education. He has taught at many
universities, such as the University of Thessaly (Greece), Malardalen University (Sweden), Inholland
University (Netherlands), Lublin University of Technology (Poland), and the University of Dubrovnik
(Croatia).
He specializes in Computer and Network Security, Cyber Security, Cryptography, Blockchain
Technologies, Mobile Technologies, Interoperability of Services, and User Interface Design. He acts as
both an advisor and evaluator in nationally and internationally funded research-based projects.
He has a vast number of international publications, including books, patents, journal papers, and
conference presentations. He co-authored Near Field Communication: From Theory to Practice (Wiley,
2012) and Professional NFC Application Development for Android (Wrox, 2013). He also co-authored
The Survey on Near Field Communication journal paper. He believes in the importance of combining
academic knowledge and education with R&D and industrial projects to provide higher national and
international outcomes.

Dr. Ali Turab is an Associate Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), China. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Thammasat University, Thailand. His postdoctoral research at TU and tenure as a Research Associate at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Malaysia have refined his expertise in Computational Modeling, Animal Cognition & Behavior, and Machine Learning applications in Behavioral Science. His research spans Mathematical Modeling, Psychological Learning Theory, and AI-driven Behavioral Analysis, with a particular focus on Neural Networks, Fractional Calculus, and Nonlinear Analysis. Dr. Turab has contributed significantly to scholarly discourse through numerous publications and presentations at international conferences. He remains committed to advancing research and education through interdisciplinary collaboration.
